Greetings!
My name is Tricia Maloney and I'm the author
of the new C&T book, I Love Precut Quilts! I'm here today to invite you to come along with
me on a super fun quilt blog hop to celebrate my new book from January 30th -
February 3rd.
WHAT'S A BLOG HOP?
A blog hop
is a group of bloggers who are all writing about the same topic -- in this
case, my new book. Each blogger is
assigned a day during the hop and decides what he/she will write about. For
example, some bloggers might decide to create projects from my book to share
with you, while others might do a book review, or even an author interview. Blog hops generally run for a specific number
of days and often include fun giveaways.
This blog hop runs from January 30th - February 3rd and you will be able
to register at each blogger's blog to win a copy of I Love Precut Quilts!
(international winners will receive an ebook copy of the book).
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Below, you
will find the I Love Precut Quilts! blog hop schedule along with links
to all of the bloggers who are involved with the hop.
All you have to do is click the links each day to go to the featured bloggers. Once there, read the blogger's post and follow the instructions to register for the giveaway. It's that simple to get in on the fun!

Precut Quilts! is a fresh
collection of 16+ beginner-friendly and intermediate quilts ranging from table
runners and place mats all the way up to big bed quilts. ALL
of the projects feature precut fabric bundles -- fat quarters, charm squares,
jelly rolls, layer cakes, and even half yards which makes fabric selection a
snap! You can even use your stash or
scrap collection because each quilt project includes a detailed shopping list
with the number of squares or strips needed to make the quilt.
Here are a few of the projects featured in the book:
I'll share

ReplyDeleteWhile I love FQs, I seldom buy the bundles because of the cost. A layer cake is usually my choice since it is enough fabric to make a decent sized project but not quite so expensive. Charms are fun too, when I want to make small things.
ReplyDeleteI have signed up to follow your blog on my blogger dashboard/GFC.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite precut is a fat quarter. Thanks for the opportunity! ecboeringa@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteFat Quarters are the most versatile and I do love them. However, the FQ bundles are outrageously priced... so, if I buy a pre-cut bundle it's usually a Layer Cake.
ReplyDeleteI would be sooo happy to win a copy of your new book! Thanks for the opportunity.
My favorite precut are the charm squares. I love having new patterns for the precuts.

ReplyDeleteI mostly use charm packs, but have also used jelly rolls.
ReplyDeleteI've never used purchased precuts. I always wonder what to do about the pinked edges and how they will change the finished sizes. However, I did purchase a charm pack (5" square -- is that what it's called) and am interested to learn. Your book looks great.
ReplyDeleteI have used jelly rolls for several quilts, but fat quarters are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love fat quarters, but a layer cake is a nice precut as well!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Fat Quarters. More fabric means my quilt has some repeats; more fabric means more choices in how I cut it up.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy fat quarters as I can use them most when cutting out large applique pieces or multiples of the same piece.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite pre-cut is fat quarters. Even if I buy yardage, I tend to cut it into a fat quarter before I start working on a block. It's much easier to handle.
